Owner and craftsman, LARRY VAWTER pursued an interest in restoring and repairing pieces of fine furniture— of the quality and workmanship that is no longer made— to start his career.
As an apprentice to Jerry Francis, a Spokane upholsterer, Larry spent many hours learning his craft and honing his skill. His first projects were pro-bono, but his reputation grew and he soon developed repeat customers.
Working in the retail furniture business in several different furniture companies, Larry has continued to develop skill and experience. Partnering with his father, he has expanded his knowledge of wood working techniques and finish restoration.
Honest and careful, Larry’s satisfaction comes from helping you restore and re-use your quality fine furniture. Located in Spokane, WA, Vawterworks is one of the Inland Northwest’s premier furniture repair and upholstery resources.
“Larry Vawter is a master craftsman.
He restored some important family furniture pieces with skill, care and all with a reasonable price.
I highly recommend Vawterworks for their high quality workmanship.”
